Incorporating feedback from assistive technology users is vital at all stages of the product development cycle but can be particularly impactful during the design phase. Unlocking ways to collect user insights early and often further shifts your products towards inclusive design.

Often with accessibility and inclusive design it can be difficult to know where to start in your journey. While evaluating an experience after launch will provide you insights on the state of your product’s accessibility and usability, collecting this feedback early in the product cycle allows you to develop with a wider range of users in mind. We will be discussing how to modify different prototype review approaches in order to collect valuable feedback from assistive technology users at the inception of a project.
